Meet Mo!
I’m Mo, the Event Engineer behind Mission:432 Events, where every moment is designed with intention, precision, and heart. After nearly two decades producing unforgettable experiences across music, entertainment, corporate spaces, and community events, I’ve built a philosophy rooted in one truth: every guest deserves to feel something. My mission is simple — engineer events that resonate long after they’re over.
My journey started with words. I was a journalist before anything else, writing and editing for my high school newspaper and yearbook. That love for storytelling carried me through a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Cal State Long Beach and a Master’s in Communication Management from USC. While earning those degrees, I found myself in conference planning rooms, on red carpets, and producing my first gospel concert with icon Tye Tribbett — moments that shaped my understanding of how experiences move people.
A chance connection with Terrace Martin shifted everything. I spent some of my best years helping him evolve from celebrated producer to multi‑dimensional artist — producing star‑studded live shows, managing tours across Japan, Europe, Canada, and the U.S., and coordinating the administration of albums including Velvet Portraits, which took me all the way to the Grammys in 2017. Those shows became platforms for rising artists and opened doors to collaborations with Robert Glasper, Chris Daddy Dave, Ronald Bruner Jr., 9th Wonder, iLL Camille, Cory Henry, Rose Gold, and more.
Along the way, I partnered with organizations like the Recording Academy, Revolt TV, Fusicology, The Stellar Awards, Long Beach Gospel Fest, Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, VH1, and the Petersen Automotive Museum — producing live events, managing artists, and shaping experiences that brought communities together.
My work expanded into reputation management, communications, and experiential marketing through The Wordplay Firm and my personal brand, You Need Mo, where I supported artists, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with strategy, storytelling, and event production. But at the core of everything I’ve ever done — from crafting copy to coordinating tours — was the same mission: create moments that matter.
Mission:432 Events is the evolution of that mission. It’s where my love for storytelling, my background in hospitality and entertainment, and my meticulous, engineer‑minded approach to production come together. Whether it’s a conference, retreat, live music event, or celebration, I build experiences that make every guest feel welcomed, connected, and immersed in something unforgettable.
I can’t wait to meet you — so you can find out why You Need Mo.
With love,
Mo
